What is a lifting strap used for?

🏋️ How to Use Lifting Straps

✅ Step 1: Thread the Strap

  • Slide the end of the strap through the loop to form a circle.
  • Pull the strap to tighten, forming a lasso-like loop.

✅ Step 2: Put It on Your Wrist

  • Slide your hand through the loop.
  • Adjust so the strap lies flat against the back of your hand and tightens around your wrist.
  • The loose end should come out toward your palm.

🧠 Tip: Left strap wraps counterclockwise, right strap clockwise.


✅ Step 3: Wrap Around the Bar

  • Place your hand on the bar.
  • Use your other hand to wrap the loose end of the strap around the bar.
  • Wrap it 2–3 times tightly.
  • Then grip the bar over the strap to lock it in.

✅ Step 4: Lift

  • Now that the strap is secured, lift as normal.
  • The strap reduces grip fatigue, letting you focus on the muscles you’re training
